Rose Ann Anschuetz, Ph.D., parent of John (’04), is a clinical child psychologist. She maintained her private practice in child psychology for several years and was also a staff psychologist at Suffolk Developmental Treatment Center in New York, prior to her move to Chicago. In Chicago, Rose Ann was the manager of children’s advertising at the Leo Burnett agency followed by serving as president and CEO of two leading public relations agencies, also in Chicago. A significant portion of her time at these agencies was directed toward developing public service communications for children and parents in the areas of immunization, nutrition, health and activities of daily living. Rose Ann is one of a small group of parents, educators, notable Chicago civic leaders and clergy at Old St. Patrick’s Church and Holy Name Cathedral who were responsible for laying down the foundation, mission and vision of The Francis Xavier Warde School as well as its early growth and development. She served on the board of FXW for 11 years. Rose Ann has also served on the boards of Youth Guidance, Archbishop Quigley Preparatory Seminary, Ronald Mc Donald House Charities (Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana), and Volunteers of America(VOA) Illinois Chapter. Currently, Rose Ann serves on the boards of the Children at the Crossroads Foundation and the First Friday Club of Chicago.
