Board of Trustees

After just a decade of working in construction, Nosa embarked on a bold new path in 2015, founding Bowa Construction, a division of The Bowa Group. His inspiration stemmed from a deep understanding of his family’s rich history in construction, driving the mission of building structures and building communities.

After graduating from The Ohio State University, Nosa rapidly advanced in his career, becoming one of the youngest project managers at his firm. Committed to continuous growth, he later earned a master of business administration from Purdue University, further honing his expertise in construction and business leadership.

With an unwavering commitment to providing opportunities that shape the future—just as his ancestors did over 500 years ago—Nosa has positioned Bowa Construction as a leader in the industry. Under his leadership, Bowa has experienced exponential growth in the past three years and completed many historic “firsts” in Chicago.

Most recently, Nosa’s journey is built on a foundation of excellence, discipline, and perseverance, values he first honed as an All-American and All-State track and field athlete. Competing at the highest levels, he secured an athletic scholarship to The Ohio State University, where he became a Big Ten champion and an Olympic qualifier in the triple jump. His commitment to success seamlessly transitioned into his professional career.

Today, Nosa remains dedicated to pushing boundaries—leading Bowa Construction in building transformative projects while championing diversity and inclusion within the industry. His impact has been widely recognized, earning him multiple consecutive honors in Crain’s Chicago “Who’s Who” in Construction”, a testament to his leadership and influence in the field.

Nosa is father to Ivie (’25), Nosa Jr. (’29) and Osare (’31).
